True, Candy didn't have the faintest real idea where she was. She just wasn't letting that bother her. Her hunch said this might've been some quaint little back room at the Factory (she hadn't been there yet), and it was no reason not to look her best. In fact, if this was the Factory, then it was imperative that she look her best, before presenting herself to Andy.

Her purse and a change of clothes had followed her, as if by magic, and a moment of rooting around the closet had produced a dressing gown and a case of rollers (which would confuse Jeremy to no end, later), so Candy was set. Rollers in her hair and covered with a scarf, she sat down by one of the desks and dug her lipstick from her purse.

Time to pretty up.

[ooc: Door about one-third open, post completely so! Jeremy is now Candy Darling, as portrayed by Stephen Dorff in I Shot Andy Warhol.]

So there was enough stuff belonging to some Jeremy guy in the room where Anna had woken up that she was pretty sure he was friends with whoever normally lived there, and his room wasn't that hard to find.

"Hey," she said, knocking on the open door before poking her head in. "Is Jeremy around? This is going to sound mondo bizarro, but I think I woke up in his girlfriend's room or something. I swear I'm not totally crazy."

"Maybe," Anna hazarded. "I don't exactly know what's going on. I'm supposed to be back in Pittsburgh, which this isn't."

She stepped in a little further. "Maybe I have the wrong room..."

"Same here," Anna said. She was kind of grooving on not-Jeremy-and-probably-not-a-girl's makeup, though she wasn't sure you were supposed to comment on something like that. "Different room than you, but I still just woke up at this boarding school thing. It's like something on TV."

"It seems like a school to me," Anna shrugged. "Like one for really, really crazy rich people. What Factory did you think you were at?"

"I know what that is," Anna said defensively. "I just thought it was like 40 years ago."

Wasn't Andy Warhol dead?

"Huh." Anna wasn't ready to call bullshit; she wasn't exactly an expert on the New York art scene, and even if she was pretty sure Andy Warhol was dead, this was less insane than the guy who kept talking about eco-villains.

"Good luck with it," she finally said. "So do you act or sing or paint or what?"

"Like in Hitchcock movies?" Anna asked. "Very vintage. That's cool."

She watched the hairstyling as she shifted from foot to foot. "I should probably let you go, huh? I'm going to go look around a little more."
